Points blunt against wires with every session, and a blunt point skids off a wire where a sharp one bites and holds. It happens gradually, which is what makes a sharpener worth keeping to hand rather than waiting for an obvious problem.

The keyring format is the point of this one: a sharpener in a drawer at home is no use at a club. On a keyring it is always with you.

A few strokes before a match is enough. Over-sharpening to a needle point is counterproductive — it bends on the first wire strike.

Points also pick up burrs from wires that a sharpener removes, which matters as much as the sharpness itself.

In the unlikely event you have received a damaged or incorrect item, take a photo of the item along with the packing slip you received with the parcel and send them to us in an email.

We will arrange a replacement or credit as soon as possible.

To be eligible for a return, your items must be 100% unused, undamaged, and inside their original, unopened packaging.
